The Garden Valley Education Foundation recently presented a $5,000 technology grant to Fertile-Beltrami school for the purchase of LEGO Mindstorm Robotics kits. These kits are an exciting new way to teach the students science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science skills.
Garden Valley CEO/General Manager Tim Brinkman and Garden Valley Director Byron Ness presented the technology grant check to Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke and students.
The Garden Valley Education Foundation was established in late 1990, by Garden Valley Telephone Company, to promote rural economic development through the use of modern telecommunications technology for educational purposes. Garden Valley Telephone Company funds the Education Foundation with unclaimed capital credits.
