Celebrated by cooperatives nationwide during the month of October, National Co-op Month is an annual opportunity to raise awareness of a trusted, proven way to do business and build resilient, inclusive communities. This year’s theme, “The Future is Cooperative,” focuses on creating a more equitable, innovative, and sustainable world.
In honor of co-op month, GVT donated over 1,000 reusable water bottles to 2nd and 3rd grade students at eleven schools in its service area.
“For several years, GVT has provided reusable water bottles to elementary classrooms in our service area,” said Timothy Brinkman, General Manager of Garden Valley Technologies. “This is a small way for us to connect with the next generation.”
