The Garden Valley Education Foundation recently presented a $5,000 technology grant to Fosston public school for the purchase of 20 Chromebook laptops. As technology continues to advance, providing students with Chromebooks is an exciting approach to teach students new ways to access homework and educational resources.

The Garden Valley Education Foundation was established in late 1990, by Garden Valley Telephone Company, to promote rural economic development through the use of modern telecommunications technology for educational purposes. Garden Valley Telephone Company funds the Education Foundation with unclaimed capital credits.
