Garden Valley is happy to sponsor two students to attend the NTCA Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Youth Tour. Two high school students, age 16 or 17 at the time of the tour, and who receive services from Garden Valley may be eligible to win an expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. for this FRS Youth Tour.

The FRS Youth Tour will be held in Washington, D.C., on June 6 through June 10, 2020, for high school students who are age 16 or 17 at the time of the tour. The Youth Tour introduces the students to the telecommunications industry within a legislative context.

If interested, please submit (before February 10, 2020) an essay-style letter of application explaining why you are interested in attending and why you should be chosen to represent Garden Valley at the Youth Tour. Also, please provide your date of birth, parents’ name, address and telephone number.

The two high school students chosen to represent the cooperative will be expected to visit Garden Valley Technologies in Erskine prior to their trip, and submit a photo and a report following their trip.
