The Garden Valley Education Foundation recently presented a $5,000 technology grant to Clearbrook-Gonvick public school for the purchase of Apple iPads. “The purchase of iPads for the Elementary classrooms will be used for a variety of activities and is the right tool to make sure all students learn the skills needed for today’s technology” said Principal Jeff Burgess.
Garden Valley CEO/General Manager Tim Brinkman and Garden Valley Director Vernon Hamnes presented the technology grant check to Clearbrook-Gonvick Public School Principal Jeff Burgess.
The Garden Valley Education Foundation was established in late 1990, by Garden Valley Telephone Company, to promote rural economic development through the use of modern telecommunications technology for educational purposes. Garden Valley Telephone Company funds the Education Foundation with unclaimed capital credits.
